Kim has over 20 years of experience working with families as an speech therapist. She founded North Star Pediatric Speech Therapy PLLC in 2019 to offer personal and specialized family-centered speech therapy services to the Greater Houston Area. Kim is committed to serving kids who need it the most and supporting their families.

Kim has a passion for treating children with Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), neurodivergent populations, and children with speech sound and language delays. She is dedicated to empowering families and ensuring every child has the tools they need to succeed.

Alexis Broussard is a dedicated Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a passion for helping young children build strong communication skills. With three years of experience, she specializes in DIR® Floortime and early speech language development, using play-based, child-led therapy to foster meaningful connections and language growth.

Alexis provides home-based, private school, and teletherapy sessions, making speech therapy accessible and convenient for families. She believes in a collaborative approach, working closely with parents and caregivers to support each child’s unique journey.

Her warm, engaging style helps children feel comfortable and confident as they develop the foundational skills needed for communication success. Alexis is committed to supporting and empowering families and celebrating every step of progress along the way.
